Leads Ivy League In Rebounding And Assists
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Jordan Bruner, who averaged 14.5 points, 12.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists in a pair of Yale victories, was selected as the Ivy League Player of the Week by CollegeSportsMadness.com.
Bruner currently leads the Ivy League in rebounding (8.4 rpg.) and assists (4.3 per game) and has flirted with a triple-double on a couple of occasions. In his last four games, Bruner is averaging 12.0 points, 10.8 rebounds and 5.5 assists.
In Yale's 94-90 overtime victory at Cal State Northridge, Bruner scored 18 points, grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds and added five assists. He was also very efficient in a 92-65 win over Kennesaw State when he had 11 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
The Bulldogs, who have won five straight games, are back in action on Tuesday night, hosting Skidmore at 7 p.m. in the final non-conference game of the season.
