NEW HAVEN, Conn.—The No. 4 Yale men's squash team has a fully packed weekend with three teams to take on between Friday and Saturday.
Friday will prove to be a particularly strenuous day that may test the Bulldogs' endurance. The team will travel to Washington, D.C., to compete against No. 12 George Washington and No. 6 Drexel at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., respectively.
Both George Washington and Drexel are coming off wins over No. 10 Cornell, whom Yale beat handily earlier this month. Such well-matched competition should offer high-quality play and a good opportunity for the defending National Champion Bulldogs to show their skill on the road.
Yale's seventh consecutive away match, on Saturday, will be against the No. 15 Naval Academy, who have amassed a 15-3 record this season. The Midshipmen took down the George Washington Colonials in a 5-4 upset last week, hinting that there may be more to their lineup than their ranking suggests.
The Bulldogs will begin play against the Midshipmen at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
