Yale Ends Day One in Sixth
After two competitive rounds of play, the Bulldogs end day one with a score of 624. Round one started strong with Senior Elisabeth Bernabe firing birdies on holes 1 and 5. Playing consistently throughout the round, she ended with a score of 75 (+3). Not far behind, teammate Jennifer Peng scored a 76 (+4). Freshman Beryl Wang gave a great performance in the first round, with birdies on holes 8, 9, and 10, earning her a round one score of 77 (+5). Rounding out the team score, junior Jayshree Sarathy scored an 83 (+11) and sophomore Julie Luo scored an 84 (+12).
During the second round, Bernabe held her own and ended the day in T12 with a score of 78 (+6). Wang continued her smooth play with a score of 77 (+5) and ended the day in T16. Closely behind, Peng ended round two with a score of 79 (+7) and currently sits in T20. Luo improved greatly during round two, with a score of 79 (+7). Sarathy scored an 88 during the second round.  
Competition resumes tomorrow at 8:00am ET.
