The Bulldogs are no strangers to the tournament. In 2013 and 2014, the team boasted second- and third-place finishes. After a two-year hiatus from the tournament, the Bulldogs are back and ready to take on their fierce competition.
This year, the women's golf team is a force to be reckoned with and could dethrone last year's champions, Princeton. Standout junior Jennifer Peng has led the team throughout the season in top finishes. She not only pushes herself to better her play from week to week, but she also pushes her teammates to continue to improve and come together as a team. Captain and senior Sandy Wongwaiwate contributes in helping the Bulldogs achieve a great team score, but has also helped boost the morale of her teammates throughout the season. Other integral members of the Bulldog's team this year are senior Elisabeth Bernabe, junior Jayshree Sarathy, and freshmen Felicia Chang and Beryl Wang.
The Hoya Invitational is the last major tournament in the team's season before the Ivy League Championships and serves as a final chance to play against some of the other Ivies before they compete for the championship and a spot in the NCAAs.
