Bulldog Alum Pots a Pair

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Former Yale women's hockey player Phoebe Staenz scored two goals for Team Switzerland in their 8-0 win over Team Unified Korea on Saturday morning.

Staenz had a team high 23:17 minutes of ice time on 28 shifts, collecting the two goals while posting a +2 rating. Her seven shots were second most on the team. Staenz, a featured player for the Swiss, is in her second Olympics after playing in Sochi in 2014. The Yale alum had 91 points as a Bulldog from 2013-2017.
