Bulldogs Trip Up On Trip

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - A tough trip proved its meddle for the Yale Bulldogs as they fell on Saturday afternoon against Colgate 2-0.

Yale (9-14-4, 7-11-2 ECAC) starts off February 0-4-0, albeit against four teams ranked in the top ten in the nation, as well as on the road.

The Bulldogs did find a silver lining in the weekend as Tera Hofmann played lights out, stopping 83 of the 86 shots she faced over about four and a half periods of play. The sophomore finished with a .965 save percentage and a 1.88 goals against average for the weekend.

Yale returns home for its final weekend of the regular season on Friday when it takes on Princeton at 6 p.m. at Ingalls Rink.
