Defensive, Offensive Standout Signs with NWHL Squad
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Mallory Souliotis, the Yale Hockey blueliner who has been an offensive star for the Bulldogs, signed with the Boston Pride of the National Women's Hockey League today.
Souliotis was drafted by the Pride in the 2017 NWHL Draft. She was the eighth overall pick and will join Boston for the remainder of its season.
"I'm extremely excited and honored to join the Boston Pride," said Souliotis. "I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue to play the sport I love and become a part of the NWHL family."
The All-Ivy League skater collected 24 points in this season with a team-high 20 assists. She finished her career with 12 goals and 58 assists for 70 points, including two seasons in which she led Yale in assists. She led the Bulldogs in points her sophomore season with 25.
"My time at Yale has been incredible," said Souliotis. "My teammates and coaches really pushed me the past four years to improve and help me become the player I am now. I'm thankful for my teammates, family, and coaches for everything they have done for me."
