    First-year forward Rebecca Vanstone has been firing on all cylinders this season for the Yale women’s hockey team. That continued last weekend in Yale’s sweep of Brown as she earned ECAC Rookie of the Week honors. The Mississauga, Ontario native collected six points (3G, 3A) in the home-and-home series with the Bears.

    Rebecca Vanstone picked a good night to have a career-best outing. Points are crucial as teams begin the ECAC Hockey stretch run and the Yale Women were hosting travel partner Brown at Ingalls Rink. Vanstone scored two goals and assisted on a pair in the Bulldogs’ 5-2 win over the Bears.
