NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale women's squash team beat Brown 9-0 at the Brady Squash Center. This was Yale's second win of the season and its first in Ivy League play.

Coach Lynn Leong was immensely proud of the team saying, "Everybody played very well, as expected; there was a strong showing all around."

No. 2 seed Helen Teegan was not at the lineup tonight, but the Bulldogs didn't miss a beat. In the longest match of the night, No. 8 Jessica Yacobucci was down 2-0, but came back and won in 5.

This match presented a fair amount of logistical issues, from changing the date and time, to a last minute switch between a three-court system to a five-court system. Nevertheless, the Elis pulled through.

The Elis are back in action at noon on January 7th against Amherst at the Brady Squash Center.
