Barbara Chesler Barbara Chesler, a Senior Associate Athletic Director came to Yale University in 1985. She has been responsible for many aspects of Yale's 35 intercollegiate sports program, capital projects and facilities. Barbara, an avid supporter of Title IX, cultivated the first Yale endowment (WISER – Women Intercollegiate Sports Endowment and Resource) exclusively benefitting women's athletics. She was the driving force in the development of Bulldog Sustainability and Yale Athletics' Community Rowing Program Throughout her tenure Barbara has served on various University, Ivy League, and NCAA committees. Additionally she is active in the New Haven community serving on the advisory and grants review committees of the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven's Women and Girls Fund. Recognized for her leadership abilities, she was the recipient of the ECAC’s Katherine Ley Award in 2007 and the Girl Scouts of Connecticut Women of Achievement Award in 2011.
Allison Potteiger Allison Potteiger is the Yale University 2010-2011 Sustainability Fellow. During her time at Yale, Allison has helped developed a sustainability action plan for the Yale Medical community, contributed to the overarching Communications Strategy for Yale’s Sustainability Strategic Plan 2010-2013, polished the Yale Athletics’ Sustainability Strategic Plan, and directed the 2011 EPA Game Day Challenge at the Yale Bowl. Allison’s focus spring semester will be two events, Spring Salvage and Celebrate Sustainability. A recent graduate of Ohio University, Allison earned a degree in public relations in addition to obtaining an environmental studies certificate. |

Erin Carter, Sustainable Bulldogs Engagement Coordinator Erin is a senior in Ezra Stiles College and an Environmental Studies major with a concentration in Food and Human Health. Erin is originally from Perkiomenville, PA and the captain of the Yale Field Hockey team. As part of the Yale Athletics community, she is interested in the sustainability of athletics events and general practices. She is an engagement coordinator for Bulldog Sustainability, the Yale Athletic Department's sustainability brand. Erin will be working to involve students, staff, and other members of the Yale community in this year's athletic sustainability efforts and events. This past summer, she did independent research under the Environmental Studies Summer Fellowship in Philadelphia looking at restaurants' methods of sourcing local foods. |

Michelle Cashen, Research Assistant for Athletics Hailing from Queens, New York, Michelle Cashen is a senior in Calhoun College. She is majoring in political science with a concentration in environmental law and policy and is captain of the women's varsity basketball team. This past summer Michelle spent six weeks at Oxford University as a Sustainability Intern in the university's Estates Directorate. During her time overseas Michelle created and administered a business travel survey in order to assess the potential of video conferencing within the university. This year Michelle is working with Bulldog Sustainability, the Yale Athletics Department's commitment to sustainability. Her projects include green event certification for the department's major events, building operations and efficiency, and implementation of recycling strategy in Payne Whitney Gymnasium. |

Eamon Ronan, Bulldog Sustainability Volunteer Eamon Ronan, a freshman in Davenport College and a native of Pennsylvania, will be working on the Bulldog Sustainability team. His first project will primarily focus on developing a website for the Yale Athletic Department’s Sustainability Plan. He also hopes to help make composting more prevalent at athletic events. Eamon enjoys writing, running, Spanish, traveling, and reading, and hopes to incorporate some, if not all, of these interests into his work with the Office of Sustainability. As for a potential major and/or career, the only thing that Eamon is certain of is the uncertainty that he currently possesses. That said, he is enthused to start his work with Bulldog Sustainability and looks forward to learning lots from the rest of the team. |

Enma Mullo, Bulldog Sustainability Volunteer Enma is a bilingual (English and Spanish) senior in Silliman College from Floral Park, New York. She is majoring in Psychology and is also a member of the women's varsity soccer team. She aspires to pair her major and her passion for sports by pursuing a career in sports marketing. Currently, Enma is working on various projects for Bulldog Sustainability, the Yale Athletic Department's sustainability team, focusing on communications and outreach to the Yale Athletic's coaches and student-athletes. |

Mary Beth Barham, Bulldog Sustainability Volunteer Mary Beth Barham is a junior in Jonathan Edwards College majoring in environmental studies. Mary Beth is from Fairfax, Virginia and is a member of the Yale Field Hockey team, Athletes in Action, and Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She is currently working on the "Boola" Campaign to advertise and promote eco-friendly practices within the Yale community, a recycling effort, and a "Bike to the Bowl" event. Mary Beth recently spend the summer in Northern Spain learning Spanish, and hopes to continue to travel abroad in the future and learn about international environmental efforts. |

Emily Schuckert, Bulldog Sustainability Volunteer Emily Schuckert is from Wilmington, Delaware and is a sophomore in Trumbull College. Majoring in Environmental Engineering Sciences, she is particularly interested in renewable sources of energy and energy efficiency. Emily is a Yale Student Ambassador and a member of the Yale varsity field hockey team, the Kiphuth Leadership Academy, and Pi Beta Phi Sorority. As a volunteer for Bulldog Sustainability, Emily is currently researching how the athletic shuttles might benefit from running on biofuels, like the rest of the buses on campus. She is also interested in the plans for renovating Coxe Cage Field House and what can be done to make the building more efficient.
