The Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for 2018-19 Academic All-Ivy honors in its spring sports today, and 10 Bulldogs were recognized. The 80 men and women honored from the eight league schools were starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages. Each institution nominated five men and five women from its eligible student-athletes.
Will Bernstein, Sr., Men's Golf, History (New York)
Named Second team All-Ivy; team captain; helped Bulldogs to Ivy League championship; two-time All-Ivy selection.
Eric Brodkowitz, Sr., Baseball, Economics (Potomac, Md.)
First team All-Ivy pitcher; led the league with six victories without a loss and finished second in innings pitched.
Sholto Carnegie, Sr., Men's Heavyweight Crew, Economics (Oxford, England)
Stroked the Bulldogs' varsity eight to a national championship; V8 was undefeated in dual races and won Ivy title; 4-year member of varsity eight
Francesca Casalino, Sr., Softball, Political Science (Dix Hills, N.Y.)
Second in Ivy League in opponent batting average, 6th in ERA and 9th in strikeouts; second all-time at Yale in career strikeouts.
Madeleine Gramigna, Sr., Women's Lacrosse, Psychology (Summit, N.J.)
Second team All-Ivy selection; tied for the team lead in ground balls with 26 and was second on the team in draw controls with 51, while adding 15 goals; team captain
William Harrington, Sr., Men's Lightweight Crew, Economics (Garden City, N.Y.)
Four-year member of varsity eight; helped Bulldogs to a sixth-place finish at IRA (national) championship; team captain.
Casey Klinger, Sr., Women's Sailing, Statistics (Larchmont, N.Y.)
All-American skipper; first-team All-NEISA Skipper; helped Bulldogs to eighth-place finish at Sperry Women's Nationals
Lily Lindsay, Sr., Women's Crew, Environmental Studies (Harrison, N.Y.)
First team All-Ivy selection; two-year member of varsity eight; helped Bulldogs to team points title at Ivy League Championship; CRCA All-American as a junior; CRCA Scholar Athlete.
Jennifer Peng, Sr., Women's Golf, Political Science (Highland Park, N.J.)
Team captain; named first team All-Ivy for the second time in her career; tied for third at the Ivy League Championship.
Ben Reeves, Sr., Men's Lacrosse, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (Macedon, N.Y.)
Recipient of Tewaaraton Award as national player of year; first-team All-Ivy selection; helped Bulldogs win NCAA Championship; USILA Lt. Raymond J. Enners Award for the most outstanding player; Ivy League Player of the Year.
