Ten Bulldogs Earn Winter Academic All-Ivy Honors

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Ivy League released its list of student-athletes selected for 2018-19 Academic All-Ivy honors in its winter sports today. There were 10 Bulldogs who thrived in their sport and in the classroom, as starters or key reserves on an officially recognized varsity team with 3.0 or better cumulative grade point averages honored.

Yale's 10 recipients are:

Lucy Beecroft, Jr., Women's Squash, Psychology, (Newcastle, England)
Yale's No. 1 player…competed in A singles at the CSA National Championship…two-time first Team All-Ivy and All-America selection.
Alex Copeland, Sr., Men's Basketball, Political Science, (Los Angeles)
First-team All-Ivy selection…named Most Outstanding Performer of the Ivy League Tournament…selected for Reese's College All-Star Game at Final Four.
Lillian Enes, Jr., Women's Track & Field, Political Science, (Sacramento, Calif.)
Finished third in the 400m run at the Ivy League Indoor Championships…set the school record in the 400 run…also helped set the school record in the 4x440-yard run.
Megan Gorman, Jr., Women's Basketball, Economics, (Vero Beach, Fla.)
One of three players on team to start all 29 games…finished fifth in the Ivy League in rebounding (7.4 rpg)…third on team in assists with 50.
Bella Hindley, Sr., Women's Swimming, Psychology, (London)
Career High Point Swimmer at Ivy League Championship…Ivy League champion in the 50 and 100 freestyles and 100 backstroke…NCAA qualifier.
Austin Laut, Sr., Men's Track & Field, Political Science, (El Dorado Hills, Calif.)
Second-team All-Ivy in the pole vault…won the pole vault title at HYP…finished second in the pole vault at the IC4A Championships.
Adrian Lin, Sr., Men's Swimming & Diving, Psychology, (Potomac, Md.)
Second-team All-Ivy in the 200-yard freestyle…second-team All-Ivy as part of 800-yard freestyle relay…named a first-team Scholar All-America member.
Spencer Lovejoy, Jr., Men's Squash, History, (Branford, Conn.)
Yale's No. 1 player…qualified in the A singles at the CSA National Championships…two-time first team All-Ivy selection.
Walter Musgrave, Sr., Men's Fencing, Psychology, (Escondido, Calif.)
First-team All-Ivy in saber…finished 14th in the saber at the NCAA Championship…finished third in the saber at NCAA Regionals.
Anna Zhou, Jr., Women's Fencing, Economics, (Lexington, Mass.)
Three-time NCAA qualifier in the foil…finished 13th at NCAA Championship this season…placed fourth at NCAA Regionals.
