Bulldogs Win Season Opener at Home

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Bulldogs came away with a very successful start to the season last weekend. There were a mix of finishes including a tie for first at Coast Guard, securing a qualification spot for the match race conference championship.

'A' division

Of particular note was Harvey and Loiacono's performance, beating their next competitors by 27 points, close to 50% better than the next boat.


A second-place finish at the Pine qualifies the team for the match racing conference championship, a qualifier for the national championship.


Breeze strength was in the 8-12 range, dropping as each day went on. These graphs show the trends (red = max gusts, blue = avg speed). Direction was NE both days.
