The showcase semi-final saw light and very shifty breeze. The Bulldogs sailed consistently to defeat MAISA's No. 1 Georgetown and NEISA No. 2 Boston College and No. 3 Harvard in the toughest event so far this season. Nine teams qualified from the event to go to the finals at St. Mary's in two weeks.

At the Hewitt, very light an shifty conditions made for some up and down results, but a notable finish by Hernandez and Webb, coming out 21 points ahead of their nearest competitor, kept the team in the hunt for second place.

At the Sister Esther, the first-years continue to gain experience at regattas around NEISA, and particularly got a good look at this year's national championship venue at Newport, RI.

A report from Asher at the Storm Trisail Regatta explains a good comeback on day two for the Bulldog team. "We sailed all of Saturday with a very small jib, because our boat owner did not have a genoa, but we found one the next day and were subsequently much stronger in the light air."
