NEWPORT, R.I. - The Bulldogs are set to compete in the 2019 LaserPerformance Team Race National Championship hosted by Brown University at the Sail Newport facility.

Only 12 teams across the country qualified for the prestigious event, which is held over the course of three days. The teams face each other in a simultaneous, round-robin system before being seeded into gold and silver fleets, at which point smaller round robins occur. The breeze looks to be champagne conditions for all three days, the ideal conditions for competitive team racing.

The Bulldogs have been diligently practicing all season and are strong contenders for the trophy.

Scores can be followed at https://scores. collegesailing.org/s19/ laserperformance-team-race- national/. Additionally, the ICSA will provide livestream with pro sailor commentary throughout the entire event on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/collegesailing/.
