DeGraw scored on a wild pitch with Wanger and Dey both advancing.  Alex Stiegler followed with a sac fly to score Wanger to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead.

Nambiar (3-0) allowed all of his runs in the sixth.   His final line was 5 and 1/3 innings, seven strikeouts, one walk and four runs (all earned).

The bullpen shut the door on any Brown comeback.  The combination Bobby Cecere, Tyler Sapsford and Benny Wanger combined to go the final 3 and 2/3 and did not allow a run.

Simon Whiteman doubled home DeGraw in the fifth to give Yale a 2-1 lead.  Whiteman later scored in the inning on a throwing error.

In the sixth, the Bulldogs put pressure on the defense.  Hague laid down a bunt single that forced a throwing error and allowed Harry Hegeman to score and make it 4-1.

Whiteman notched another RBI on a fielder's choice ground out to third that scored Ronai.
