Team Posts GPA Of Better Than 3.0

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – It was another highly successful season for Yale on the court, capturing the Ivy League regular season and tournament titles and nearly upsetting No. 3 seed LSU in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Bulldogs also excelled in the classroom, and they have been rewarded by earning an NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the sixth straight year.

Created by the NABC Committee on Academics, the award recognizes outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better for the 2018-19 season.

In order to earn an NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, institutions in the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA must count the grade point averages of all men's student-athletes who competed during the 2018-19 season.
