NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Two months after receiving their degrees at Yale's 318th Commencement, outgoing seniors Eoin Leonard and captain James Nicholas were honored as 2018-19 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholars. The pair of Bulldogs were selected among the record number of 279 honorees for Division I and made up two of the nine total selections from the Ivy League.

Leonard and Nicholas, who won nine combined tournaments as individuals at Yale, maintained cumulative grade-point averages of at least 3.2 during their collegiate careers and posted stroke-averages under 76.0 during the 2018–19 season to qualify for the award. This is the second straight season Leonard and Nicholas earned Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar honors after landing a spot on the team in 2018.
