SPARKS, Md. – The World Champions defeated the National Champions in a very competitive exhibition contest called the Team USA Fall Classic. Team USA, the 2018 World Champions, edged the 2018 NCAA Champion Yale Men's Lacrosse Team today by a score of 12-7.

First year attackman Matt Brandau scored four goals and junior Jackson Morrill pitched in five assists at Tierney Field before 1,150 fans. Jack Tigh, Brendan Rooney and Brian Tevlin also hit the net against the highly decorated roster of Team USA players.

Sophomore Jack Starr played all but the last five minutes of the game in the Yale net before senior Hoyt Crance came on to close it out.

The Bulldogs will celebrate the national championship with their alumni next weekend at New Haven. There is a golf tournament on Friday, a championship ceremony at the Saturday football game and a scrimmage with Notre Dame on Sunday.
