Bulldogs Look To Extend Win Streak

The No. 3 Bulldogs, who have won 4 straight, go on the road this Saturday to face Princeton. The 3 p.m. game at The Class of 1952 Stadium can be seen live on ESPN+.

Princeton leads the all-time series against Yale, 74-28-2, but things have been more even in recent years. In addition, the Bulldogs have won 4 of the past 5 regular season games and each of the last three playoff meetings.

Brendan Rooney, Jack Tigh and Ben Reeves each had three goals while Jackson Morrill chipped in four points as the Elis beat Princeton, 16-8, before 1,391 at Reese Stadium a year ago.

Yale opened Ivy play with a 16-11 win over Cornell last weekend at New Haven in a battle of top 5 teams. Matt Brandau had 6 goals and 8 points, Matt Gaudet hit the net 5 times and TD Ierlan won 24 face-offs and scooped up 17 ground balls, while Jack Starr had a dozen saves.

Princeton (2-4, 0-1 Ivy) gave up 6 straight goals early in the second half before losing its league opener against Penn, 19-10. Don't be fooled by the Tigers' record; they have played a tough schedule with wins over Navy and Monmouth and losses to Rutgers, Virginia and Johns Hopkins.
