NEW HAVEN, Conn.—The No. 9 Yale men's squash team thrilled a home crowd on Saturday with back-to-back wins against No. 10 George Washington and No. 14 Navy.
The Bulldogs were dominant in both matches, which were both settled with a final score of 7-2.
Yale opened the day against George Washington with plenty of close matches that keep spectators in Brady Squash Center on their toes. Seniors Arjun Kochhar and captain Thomas Kingshott played to five matches each at the No. 4 and 6 spot, respectively.
Their comebacks gave the team forward momentum for the remainder of the match as well as their next endeavor against Navy.
The match against the midshipmen was an even more definitive victory, with seven of nine matches decided in just three games.
The Bulldogs will hope to build on their winning streak next weekend when they take on Ivy League competitors Columbia and Cornell. Both matches will be hosted at the Brady Squash Center in Payne Whitney Gymnasium.
