Pramer Begins Competition at Zone Qualifiers

BLACKSBURG, Va.- Senior diver Tyler Pramer placed 15th in the 3-meter dive at the NCAA Zone A Championships on Monday.

Pramer had the 13th highest score in the preliminary round, when the judges awarded him 308.20 points.  He turned in an even better performance in the final round, when he earned 316.10 points, bringing his total to 624.30. Pramer was one of only four Ivy League divers to compete in the event. Divers from the University of Virginia and the host team Virginia Tech claimed six out of the top seven places.  
Pramer will compete in the 1-meter dive on Tuesday morning. The winner of the  event will automatically qualify to compete the NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships, and up to four divers may qualify.
