Molly Chamberlain joined the Yale coaching staff in 2018 as an assistant coach.
Chamberlain spent the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 seasons as an assistant coach to the Sacred Heart University women's swimming and diving team. During her two years, she helped guide the team to a third-place finish at the 2017 Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships, and a sixth-place finish at the 2018 Northeast Conference Championships.
Chamberlain previously coached at her alma mater, Siena College, for three years. She also spent four seasons with the Albany Starfish Swim Club, working primarily with distance and sprint freestyle swimmers. She developed many accomplished swimmers while coaching at Albany, sending athletes to Division I programs, such as Michigan, Ohio State and Bucknell.
As a swimmer at Siena College, Chamberlain was an eight-time top-three finisher at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships. She was All-Academic Team in the conference all four years of her collegiate career, and was named MVP of the Siena College women's swimming team following her junior season. Chamberlain also currently holds several Siena College women's swimming records, including records in the 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle.
