Bulldogs Earn All-America, Scholar Athlete Honors From CRCA

Mazzio-Manson Named First Team All-American

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association has announced its postseason honors, and several Bulldogs have been recognized.

Daisy Mazzio-Manson earned first team All-America recognition, Margaret Saunders was named to the second team, while Ella von der Schulenburg and coxswain Aparajita Chauhan were honorable mention selections.

The criteria for All-America honors was – strength of finish of the institutions varsity eight, coach comments and 2k erg score.

In addition, von der Schulenburg, Margaux Paradis and Sera Bulbul were named Scholar Athletes.

The requirements were a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA and rowing in an NCAA eligible boat in at least 75 percent of the races.

It was another very successful season for the Bulldogs, who finished eighth at the NCAA Championship last month.  It was the 15th top-10 finish in the last 18 years for Yale.
