Yale Sends Two to Individual Nationals

NEW HAVEN, Conn.—The Yale women's squash team is sending two players to the 2018 College Individual Championships this weekend in Washington, D.C. Sophomores Lucy Beecroft and Helen Teegan are geared up and ready to represent Yale in the championships, which begins on Friday.

Beecroft is competing in the A Division of the championship, where she will play to take home the Ramsay Cup and a national title. Beecroft's first match of the weekend is against Trinity's Selma T. Alam Eldin. The pair will be competing against one another for the first time in the 2017-18 season at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.

Teegan is slated to compete in the tournament's B Division North bracket. She will start off the competition against Elizabeth Varoli from the University of Connecticut. The match will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning.
