NEW HAVEN, Conn.-- Coming off a successful weekend at the Brown Quad and ITA Regional Championships, the Yale women's tennis team will partake in the Big Green Invite at Dartmouth College this weekend, the conclusion of the fall portion of the Bulldogs' 2017-2018 schedule.
First Year Samantha Martinelli will head to Hanover, N.H. looking to build on the spectacular start to her Bulldog career, coming off an ITA Regional Semi-Finals run in which her only loss came to the tournament's number 1 overall seed. Senior Valerie Shklover also advanced to the round of 16 and will attempt to keep her momentum going into the Big Green Invitational.
In addition to the ITA Regional Championships, the Bulldogs are also on the heels of a successful Brown Quad in which they went 4-2 as a team against the Brown Bears. Junior Amy Yang and Caroline Amos '19, and sophomore Opala Dhingra '20 all picked up singles victories, with Amos also recording a doubles victory.
