Yale Women's Tennis Finish Day 2 of Big Green Invite

HANOVER, NH- The Yale women's tennis team faced off against members of the Massachusets Minutewomen for the second consecutive day and did not drop a single match in a dominant Day 2 showing. 

Six Bulldogs won their singles matches in straight set fashion. Samantha Martinelli and Amy Yang both won by identical 6-1, 6-2 scores. Raissa Lou took her match 6-4, 6-1 while Kathy Wang won 6-4, 6-3. Lauren Gillinov was dominant, dropping only one game in her straight sets victory, and Caroline Dunleavy went a step further by double bageling her opponent. Jessie Gong won in three sets, gutting out a 4-6, 7-6, 6-0 comeback and looked stronger as the match went on. 

Doubles were equally dominant for the Bulldogs; Martinelli/Yang and Dunleavy/Wang both won their sets 6-4, while Lou/Gong took theirs by a double break, 6-2.
