Yale Defeats Birmingham, St. Mary's

BIRMINGHAM, England - The combined team of Harvard and Yale worked together to beat Birmingham and St. Mary's Tuesday afternoon. Yale and Harvard scored 122 points, while Birmingham was second at 85 points and St. Mary's had 21 points. Katrina Castille won the 100-meter dash (12.43) and took second in the 200-meter dash (26.01), losing by only 0.01.

In the 400-meter dash, Claudia Duncan was fourth with a time of 58.24.

Katherine Dlesk won the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:06.00. In the 800-meter run, Meredith Leenhouts and Kelli Buck were second and fourth with times of 2:13.85 and 2:16.84.

Lindsay Donaldson won the 3,000-meter run with a time of 9:35.10. Another winner was Ashley Nolet in the pole vault. She won at a height of 3.30 meters.

The 4x100 and 4x400-meter relay teams won with times of 48.65 and 3:54.50.
